Privacy
What we store
The short version: you can play without an account, and an account stores very little.
If you only play
Nothing about you is saved. A session cookie keeps the page working, and a score you earn as a guest is held in that session so you can save it if you log in. It disappears when the session ends.
If you create an account
- Username. Public. It appears next to your scores and on your profile.
- Email. Optional, private, and used only to send a password reset link.
- Password. Stored only as a salted hash. Nobody, including the site owner, can read it.
- Scores. Each saved run with its date and a few game stats. Scores are public.
- Log in cookie. If you tick “keep me logged in”, a cookie lasts 30 days on that device. Logging out removes it.
Short-lived technical data
To slow down password guessing and spam, your IP address is recorded with failed log in, sign up and reset attempts. These records are deleted automatically within a couple of days.
Third parties
Icons load from the cdnjs content network, which sees your IP address like any host would. The share buttons are plain links. Nothing is sent to Facebook, X, Reddit and the rest unless you click one. There are no ads and no analytics scripts.
Your control
You can change your email or password, or delete your account and every score attached to it, from the account page. Deletion is immediate.
